Josie is based in Brisbane where she supports Hawker Britton’s Directors throughout Australia with policy, political and legislative analysis on both State and Federal levels.

With a diverse background spanning various sectors, Josie brings to the team a deep commitment to community, robust leadership skills, and a proven ability to excel in demanding environments. Her experiences encompass roles ranging from sales, retail, and warehousing to serving as a Labor Party Field Organiser, Volunteer Surf Life Saver, and active participation in multiple Young Labor committees.

Josie holds a Diploma of Business and is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with German and Political Science at the University of Queensland, reflecting her interest in understanding global inequality, development, and cultural dynamics.
