Jade Poulton

Policy and Business Analyst

Jade is based in Hawker Britton’s Canberra office where she supports the Company’s directors with policy, political, and business analysis. 
 
Jade has a multitude of interests and engagement in First Nation’s justice, economic and fiscal policy, and women’s and gender affairs. She extends this passion to fostering legislative engagement, encouraging the involvement of young people in creating equitable and impactful policy frameworks. 

Jade has been active in numerous political campaigns for the Australian Labor Party and continues to dedicate her free time to Labor initiatives such as Young Labor and the student union movement. She has gained invaluable networks with key policy and decision-makers through this work. 

Jade has interned for federal members of Parliament, where she has gained an understanding of the intricacies in which a political office operates. She has also engaged in various other political environments, equipping her with the skills to engage in parliamentary discourse through policy and community engagement. 

Jade is on the pathway to completing her Bachelor of Public Policy and Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Indigenous Studies) from the Australian National University.
