Melody Vandyke

Associate (NSW)

Melody Vandyke is Hawker Britton’s specialist public affairs and government commerce adviser for Hawker Britton’s information technology and telecommunications industry clients.

Melody joins Hawker Britton with over 30 years experience in the ICT industry and with the NSW and Commonwealth Governments.

During her more than 12 years as an ICT employee/consultant with the NSW Government she worked with NSW Police, the Department of Education and Training, NSW Fire Brigades, Railcorp, and the Office of State Revenue.  In these roles she had responsibility for ICT strategic planning, asset planning, business analysis, business case development, business and project reviews and contract negotiations.

She was also the Principal Adviser on ICT investments for NSW Treasury.

She has more than 13 years experience as an employee/consultant with the Commonwealth Government, which included time as the CIO of the Department of Community Services (Qld) and then the Civil Aviation Authority (NSW).

Having worked in the IT, telecommunications, and finance industries - and run her own ICT and management consulting business - Melody understands the needs of businesses and working with governments in Australia.
