Mark Nolan is the Brisbane-based Director for Hawker Britton.
He works with a broad range of clients in Queensland, providing expert strategic advice that gives them a competitive edge in the national and global market places.
A former ALP State Secretary in Western Australia and Senior Advisor with the Federal ALP, Mark founded Hawker Britton's Brisbane office in 1998.
Mark has advised Hawker Britton's clients on legislative and regulatory reforms and provided high-level strategic advice to major corporations in the finance, resource and infrastructure sectors on a wide range of initiatives. He also works with key clients in the area of media management and media training.
With China continuing to display strong economic growth together with an increasing appetite for energy related resources, Mark travels regularly to China representing a variety of Australian clients in a direct engagement with Chinese Corporations.
A further specialty area that is run out of the Brisbane office of Hawker Britton is in crisis media management. Mark has developed a well-earned reputation for his skilled strategic management of some of the country's most difficult public affairs issues.
Working at a senior level in successive Federal and State elections dating back over the past two decades, Mark has an extensive background in campaigning and provides his clients with the most up-to-date advice on corporate campaigning.
Mark holds degrees in Politics, Industrial Relations and Law, and is admitted as a Barrister in several Australian jurisdictions. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
