Katherine is a veteran of more than a dozen state and federal campaigns in the USA. Her skills in combining tailored research materials with the latest in rapid-response and message delivery techniques are unique in Australian public affairs consulting. Her advice has helped Hawker Britton's clients communicate in a timely way with the media and the general public.

She was a senior campaign aide to Rep Richard Gephardt, the Democrat's leader in the US House of Representatives, and Rhode Island Rep Patrick Kennedy during the 2000 federal election. In that campaign, she designed and implemented free and paid communications plans for individual congressional campaigns across the country.

Katherine has translated this experience to working with multinational corporations such as MCI, Viacom/MTV and AOL Time Warner/Warner Music on corporate image campaigns through her work with a national non-profit organisation in the United States.

At Hawker Britton, Katherine works with a wide range of corporate clients on communications and research strategies and on public affairs campaigns.
