Janai Tabbernor

Janai joined the Sydney office of Hawker Britton in 2008 after working on the staff of the Federal Minister for Ageing, Justine Elliot.

She graduated from the University of NSW with a Bachelor of Arts in 2005 majoring in Political Science and Development Studies.

Janai has solid experience as a campaigner for the ALP, having worked on the 2006 Queensland state election campaign and the 2007 federal election campaign in the NSW marginal seat of Richmond.

In the lead up to the 2007 NSW State election, she worked as a campaign assistant and researcher for NSW ALP head office and is looking forward to returning to a research based role.
She is currently the Senior Vice President of NSW Young Labor.

Janai is also an accomplished classical musician, formally playing for Sydney Youth Orchestra and attending the Conservatorium of Music.
