John Lacy brings a strong understanding of government and business on both sides of the Tasman to Hawker Britton's New Zealand office. John's in-depth knowledge of the pressures affecting business in New Zealand, coupled with his unique personal history with key government Ministers and MPs makes him an invaluable resource for corporations working on either side of the Tasman.

In his roles as Director of Research and Development for Action on Smoking and Health and as CEO of the National Foundation for the Deaf, John formed a complex understanding of the skills of political lobbying, public affairs strategy development and corporate communications.

In his former position as Manager of Marketing and Corporate Relations for the New Zealand Labour Party, John's extensive work in fundraising and corporate relationship development has positioned him ideally to liaise between the NZ Government, Opposition and corporate sectors.

John also brings to Hawker Britton more than a decade of experience in running small and medium enterprises in Australia and New Zealand.
